Calvary Littleton

Our Story

Our Story

Calvary Church, Littleton began worshipping Jesus and making disciples together in the summer of 2013. The starting point was a group of leaders and servants from Calvary Church, Englewood, who came together with a prayerful passion to love Jesus, love one another, and live faithfully as missionaries in our city. This group was prayerfully sent out from Calvary Englewood to show and tell the good news of Jesus to friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers in Littleton. Our first public worship gathering happened in September of  2013 at Littleton High School. From the beginning, our vision has been to make Jesus non-ignorable in Littleton and to the ends of the earth, by carrying out our mission to make joyful, passionate disciples of Jesus.

Since those first days, we have seen God’s power and kindness in many ways. We have celebrated God’s gracious salvation through many baptisms. We have watched Jesus lead people into recovery from addiction and abuse. We have seen bitter family grudges and disconnected marriages healed and reconciled by the power and work of the Holy Spirit. We have been blessed to send missionaries and leaders to plant two new churches in Denver, and in Gillette, WY, and replant an existing church in Blanca, CO. We have seen Jesus become increasingly non-ignorable in our city and beyond.

We cannot wait to see what Jesus will do in and through Calvary Littleton in the next five years and beyond. If you are not connected to a church family or are wondering about what it means to know Jesus in a real and life-changing way, we would love to meet you, help you connect with us at Calvary Littleton, and join us in the the story of what God is doing to make Jesus non-ignorable in Littleton and to the ends of the earth!
